About the Authors

James Wolfe is an engineer, entrepreneur and head of a small company specializing in product development, licensing and promotion. Curse? There Ain’t No Stinking Chicago Cub Curse and Other Stories about Sports and Gamesmanship is his fourth work of fiction and his seventh book. He enjoys playing a friendly game of golf in the summer and a pickup game of basketball at the YMCA in the winter. He resides in beautiful Rockford, Illinois.

Jamey, Jim, Wolf and Wolfie are among the names he has been called in the past. At least the mentionable names.

Mary Ann Presman has been writing ad copy and newsletters almost all of her adult life and has studied the crafting of short fiction with Pam Houston, Dennis Lehane, Margot Livesey, Antonya Nelson and Jim Shepard at writer’s workshops from coast to coast. She also resides in Rockford.
